TEHRAN (Defapress) - The advocacy organization reports that Israeli authorities authorized the entry of 34 aid trucks into the besieged North Gaza governorate over the past 2.5 months; however, only 12 of these trucks successfully delivered food and water to the individuals trapped in the region.
"Oxfam stated on Sunday that out of the limited 34 trucks permitted to enter North Gaza during this period, intentional delays and systematic hindrances imposed by the Israeli military resulted in only twelve trucks being able to assist the starving Palestinian population."
The organization further noted, "For 3 of these deliveries, after food and water were provided to a school serving as a shelter, the location was subsequently cleared and shelled within hours."
Israel has been blockading and laying siege to North Gaza – which includes Beit Hanoon, Beit Lahiya, and Jabalia – since October 5, trapping tens of thousands of people and cutting off their access to food, water, and medicine.
