Several Maneuvers Focusing on Micro Air Vehicle and Unmanned Equipment Will Be Held

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, said at the end of the final stage of the security, offensive, and mobile maneuver of the Army Ground Force: In the two-stage maneuver of the Army Ground Force in the western general region of the country, in addition to measuring the readiness of the Air Force helicopters at the 1st Combat Base in Kermanshah, the auto extraction and parachute operations of the 55th Airborne Brigade of the Army Ground Force, as well as the collective offensive and defensive flight operations of this force's micro air vehicle, were evaluated.

Major General Bagheri continued: Due to the development and promotion of artificial intelligence and robotics, today's battles have become seriously different from past battles. Accordingly, the Army Ground Force made maximum use of these 2 sciences in the western general area exercise, and by utilizing the equipment produced by the Army Ground Force's Research and Self-Sufficiency Jihad Organization, the force's robotic operations were implemented and evaluated in this exercise.

Referring to the offensive and defensive flight of the Army's ground forces' micro air vehicle, he emphasized: "The Ground Forces' offensive micro air vehicle successfully destroyed the intended targets, and the force's defensive micro air vehicle also benefited from the seven-layer defense capabilities of the ground forces to counter the enemy's offensive micro air vehicle attack."

The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces added: The offensive and defensive capabilities of the Army's ground forces are among the great successes of this force, which should also be developed in other armed forces of the country, and thank God, we are on the same path, and repeated maneuvers will be held in this regard in the future.

In conclusion, referring to the message of this exercise, Major General Bagheri noted: The main responsibility of the Armed Forces is to defend and ensure the security of the Iranian land and nation, and it is necessary to maintain our maximum readiness while conveying the message to the enemies that the country's Armed Forces are fully prepared to confront them in the fields of electronic warfare and to send the message to the dear people of the country that their security and comfort will be maintained by the country's Armed Forces desirably and worthily.
