Qatar Calls for International Monitoring of the Zionist Regime's Nuclear Activities

TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Ma'an, the Jerusalem Post newspaper reported that Jassem Yacoub Al-Hammadi, Qatar's permanent representative to the United Nations, stressed during a meeting of the Board of Governors the need for the International Atomic Energy Agency to monitor all of the Zionist regime's nuclear facilities.

He added that the regime should join the NPT treaty.

Al-Hammadi stressed that all of the Zionist regime's nuclear facilities should be subject to international monitoring to ensure the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons in the Middle East.

Despite possessing nuclear weapons, the Zionist regime has not signed the NPT treaty and its nuclear facilities have not been registered with the Agency.
