He added: "Jolani has committed many crimes against civilians."

Katz, exploiting the situation in Syria politically, said: "Israel" will protect itself against Syrian threats and our forces will remain in Syrian areas, including the Hermon Heights, and will protect the Golan Heights and Galilee.

He added: "We protect the Syrian Druze in the south of the country."
