The Hands of the Armed Forces are on the Trigger

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Brigadier General Kioumars Heydari, Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Army Ground Forces, spoke to reporters on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony of the first comprehensive shooting exhibition, the shooting range monitoring system, and the 86th shooting school of the Ground Forces, held at the Javad al-Aeme Training Center. He stated: "Annually, 3,000 shooters will be trained by the Army Ground Forces' schools. So far, 2,500 shooters have been trained, and the remaining shooters will soon receive their training."

In response to a question from Defapress correspondent regarding the recent statements by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution about not negotiating with the U.S. and rejecting proposals to limit defensive capabilities, Brigadier General Heydari said: "What the U.S. is seeking today is not negotiation, but rather confrontation and imposition."

The Commander of the Army Ground Forces emphasized that they are obedient to the orders of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and clarified: "The hands of the armed forces are on the trigger, and they are in a state of full readiness."

General Heydari added: "The necessary preparedness and facilities to counter any threat have been provided, and if any aggression occurs, we will decisively crush the aggressors."
