Armed Forces Are At Peak Readiness

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, after his two-day visit to Sistan and Baluchestan Province, highlighted the objectives and achievements of the trip, stating: "As part of the periodic visits to provinces across the country, I had the opportunity to visit the strategic and important province of Sistan and Baluchestan and personally assess the status of various military units stationed in the region."

Major General Bagheri, referring to the extensive nature of these inspections, said: "Over the past 48 hours, multiple units of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, and the Police Power Command were thoroughly evaluated. Fortunately, the level of readiness, combat capability, and security preparedness of the armed forces in this region is in a commendable and favorable state."

The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, comparing the current situation with previous visits, emphasized: "Compared to past assessments, significant progress has been made in operational readiness, equipment, and organizational cohesion. Comprehensive plans are also being implemented to enhance defense and security capabilities in the region."

He also announced the adoption of effective decisions regarding support for the armed forces, stating: "During this visit, appropriate decisions were made regarding logistical, equipment, and manpower support, the positive effects of which will soon be observed in the improved performance of the units."

Major General Bagheri, expressing satisfaction with the current situation, described the future of the country's armed forces as bright, adding: "With the continuation of this progress and the necessary support, a clear outlook has been drawn for the development of defense and security readiness of the armed forces across the country, particularly in border regions such as Sistan and Baluchestan."
