We Will Continue the Path of Nuclear Development

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Atomic Energy Organization published a statement following the US attack on nuclear sites.

The text of the statement is as follows:

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Following the vicious attacks of the Zionist enemy over the past few days, the country's nuclear sites in Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan were attacked by the enemies of Islamic Iran in a brutal act that violates international laws, especially the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).

Unfortunately, this action contrary to international laws has been carried out in the shadow of indifference and rather with the cooperation of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The American enemy has taken responsibility for the attack on the mentioned sites through the cyber space, which is under the continuous supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency, based on the Safeguard Agreement and the NPT Treaty.

It is expected that the international community, while condemning lawlessness based on the rules of the jungle, will accompany Iran in asserting its rights.

The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran assures the great nation of Iran that despite the malicious plots of the enemies, with the efforts of thousands of its revolutionary and motivated scientists and experts, will not allow the development of this national industry, which is the result of the blood of nuclear martyrs, to stop.

In order to defend the rights of the noble people of Iran, this organization has put the necessary measures, including legal follow-up, on its agenda.
