Iran Stands on the Right Side of History

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Major General Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, speaking at the graduation ceremony for cadets from Army universities held at the Imam Ali (A.S.) Army University and via webinar in other Army universities, congratulated the graduates and referred to them as officers of the Resistance Front and future commanders of the Army. Addressing them, he said: "Your student period was a unique and unparalleled chapter; you witnessed the steadfastness and victory of resistance reliant on faith against the oppressors of the world with all their apparent power."

Major General Mousavi, stating that today the world looks upon Iran's faith, will, courage, and solidarity with respect and the world has come to believe in the power of resistance, added: "Today, Palestine is the beloved name of the world, and Gaza is the symbol of steadfastness and the embodiment of the victory of blood over the sword."

He also, referring to the consequences of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation, said: "This operation was the starting point of major events in the region and the world. The Americans and Zionists, who for years had portrayed themselves as being in the right through their media empire, were completely exposed and stripped bare. Their real criminal, bloodthirsty, and child-killing face was revealed to all the people of the world, and Palestine, which was being completely forgotten, became the world's primary issue. The cry of truth and oppression was heard by the world, and the proponents of falsehood and the bullies were disgraced."

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces added: "Today, even the most pessimistic people have come to believe that the position of the Iranian Islamic Revolution is right and principled. If it raises the call for defending the oppressed and the dispossessed of the world, it has chosen the right side of history, and if it stands against bullying, this is a sign of its wisdom, honor, and independence."

Major General Mousavi stated: "The Zionist regime, with the help of America, by attacking Iran, sought to save itself from this predicament of disgrace, universal hatred, and its internal disintegration; but it was severely defeated and, in desperation, requested a ceasefire."

Stating that today the enemies are trying to compensate for their defeat in the media arena and in the realm of minds, he emphasized: "We are in the midst of a full-scale cognitive warfare; a war to change mental frameworks, perceptual systems, and the beliefs and hopes of the people. What the enemies could not achieve through force, bullying, and military operations, they are now pursuing through distortion, rumor, psychological operations, and the production of false narratives."

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces described their goal as striking at national cohesion and unity and weakening the unparalleled fortress of resistance of the great Iranian nation, and said: "The armed forces must maintain and daily enhance their level of preparedness at the highest level."

Major General Mousavi, emphasizing that media and elites must preempt the enemy's distortion and psychological operations by correctly explaining the realities and raising awareness, added: "Universities and scientific centers must also produce analysis and thought; because today's war is not merely a war of tools and structures, but a war of meanings and narratives, and it is necessary for the people to firmly maintain the fortress of social resistance with calm, trust, and faith."

He stated: "Although our enemies are inherently savage and aggressive, it is unlikely that, after the blow they have suffered, they would intend to make another mistake; if they are wise."

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, stating that we are closely monitoring the movements of the enemies, said: "We are not warmongers; but we are prepared, we are aware of the rules of ending engagement, and for now, we do not intend to take action; but our actions this time will be completely different."

Major General Mousavi continued: "By their own admission, they planned for 15 years, equipped and prepared themselves, repeatedly rehearsed their plans, organized their infiltrators, equipped and prepared them, in their own opinion chose the best time, and executed the plan meticulously, but with the command of the Supreme Leader, by the grace of God Almighty, the insightful nation and the brave armed forces of this proud country delivered an unforgettable slap to them."

Stating that future generations will remember this generation, this nation, and their children in the armed forces with greatness and honor, he emphasized: "Just as the Iranian nation has overcome all obstacles until today, it will also overcome the current difficulties."

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces said: "I recommend all of you to enhance your spirituality, self-improvement, strengthen your scientific foundation, increase your military skills, master your training, physical fitness, mental resilience, creativity and innovation, and equip yourselves with modern knowledge to achieve victory in future battlefields and to understand the intricacies of cognitive warfare and how to stand against them."
