TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Ma'an, Israeli Minister of War Israel Katz strongly criticized the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, Eyal Zamir, and protested his handling of the process of dismissals and appointments in the army and the military investigation into Al-Aqsa Storm Operation.

Katz said yesterday that he was shocked by Zamir's behavior in reprimanding an officer without consulting him.
He also acknowledged his differences with Zamir.
Earlier, the Zionist newspaper Ma'ariv reported that the crisis between the Minister of War, Eyal Zamir, the Chief of Staff of the Army, and other army commanders is escalating, with no signs of a resolution.
Referring to the escalation of tensions between the two sides, the newspaper wrote that Katz's inclination towards new warmongering comes at a time when army commanders believe they must act decisively to prevent any war scenario that might again involve the regime.
