Crisis of Recruiting Haredis into the Israeli Army
The worsening crisis of the shortage of personnel in the Israeli army and Tel Aviv's efforts to recruit Haredis into the army have caused them to once again demonstrate their opposition to this issue by holding demonstrations.
TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Ma'an, the so-called Haredi Zionists (radical Jews) held a demonstration against compulsory participation in the Israeli army and blocked Street No. 4 in the Bnei Brak area, located in the center of the occupied territories.
Hebrew media reported that the demonstration disrupted the movement of vehicles towards the city of Petah Tikva.
The Israeli police forces also deployed in the said area, calling the demonstration illegal.
The shortage of personnel in the Israeli army has drawn attention to the compulsory participation in the army for Haredis, an issue that has led to the intensification of protests among them.
