Resistance Will Never Accept Disarmament

TEHRAN (Defapress) - In an interview with Defapress correspondent, Brigadier General Mohammad Tavalai, former deputy coordinator of the IRGC Intelligence Organization, stated, referring to the US national security document: The West Asian region has been removed from the priorities of US national security in this document, and this means handing over the region's file to the Zionist regime.

Brigadier General Tavalai described the Zionist regime as a dictatorial, fake, and war-mongering regime and said: The basis of the formation of this regime has been force, war-mongering, terror, and conflict. In contrast, the philosophy of the formation of Resistance groups, including Hezbollah, is to confront the aggression and rebellion of bloodthirsty and war-mongering regimes such as the Zionist regime, the US, and its other supporters.

The former deputy coordinator of the IRGC Intelligence Organization continued: These groups are strictly prohibited from interfering in the internal affairs of their countries, and their policy is based on maintaining national unity and focusing on confronting aggression. On the other hand, the United States and the Zionist regime are strongly seeking to create internal conflicts in countries such as Iraq, Yemen, and Lebanon to put the Resistance in opposition to domestic political movements and the people.

He added: The restraint of Hezbollah in Lebanon and other Resistance groups stems from this approach and efforts to prevent civil war, and they want to achieve the Resistance movement and confront the aggression of the Zionist regime with national unity. Unfortunately, the Westernized are present in all countries of the region and are an active political movement that opposes the Resistance and has created problems. The restraint of Hezbollah and revolutionary groups should be evaluated in this light, not as a sign of surrender and compromise in the face of the aggression of the Zionist regime and the criminal America.

Referring to the recent announcement of Hamas and Hezbollah’s position opposing their disarmament, Bregedair General Tavalai said: “Recently, Khaled Meshaal announced that our condition is that the Resistance does not disarm, because we do not want the memories of Sabra and Shatila to be repeated and the crimes that the Zionist regime committed in the massacre of people in Gaza and the West Bank and other places to be committed. Lebanese Hezbollah has also officially announced that it does not accept disarmament under any circumstances, and the commander of the Lebanese army has also been angered by the Americans for this reason.

The former deputy coordinator of the IRGC’s intelligence organization reminded: It is predicted that the Zionist regime will increase pressure and provocative actions such as bombing and violating the ceasefire due to its war-mongering spirit. On the other hand, the Resistance does not accept disarmament in any way and, while avoiding internal conflict, will strive to create national consensus and solidarity so that if the Zionists continue their aggression, it will give decisive and strong responses to the Zionist criminals.

Bregedair General Tavalai continued by stating about the capabilities of the IRGC in firing ballistic missiles at the occupied territories: On the last day of the imposed 12-day war, we fired a Khoramshahr missile at the occupied territories, which caused widespread destruction, destroyed a large area of ​​Tel Aviv, and killed several pilots, political and military officials of the criminal Zionists.
