US Air Strikes Against ISIS in Syria

The US military claimed to have carried out heavy and retaliatory strikes against ISIS in Syria.

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The US military stated that it had conducted massive air strikes against them in response to ISIS's attack on December 13th last year against American forces in Palmyra, Syria.

US Air Strikes Against ISIS in Syria

Al Arabiya, quoting an unnamed US official, reported that 35 ISIS bases were targeted in these strikes.

He stated that 90 precision-guided missiles were used in the strikes, and added that over 20 fighter jets participated in the US air strike on ISIS bases in Syria on Saturday night.

The US official said that Jordan's F-16 fighter jets also took part in the operation.
