Iranian Armed Forces Have Very High Combat Readiness

TEHRAN (Defapress) - In an interview with Defapress correspondent, Commander of the Army Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi, stated about the combat readiness of the armed forces: Today, with the guidance and measures of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the armed forces are highly prepared.

Brigadier General Jahanshahi emphasized: The armed forces are monitoring threats well and are fully prepared to confront them. Also, in the field of equipment and manpower, very good measures have been taken to increase the strength of the forces.

Emphasizing that the armed forces are more prepared than during the 12-day imposed war, the Commander of the Army Ground Forces said: The training, organization, combat, and readiness of the forces are at a high leve,l and if the enemy makes a miscalculation, the armed forces will defend themselves with strength against the enemy's invasion in any part of the country.

He continued by saying that the experiences of the eight-year Sacred Defense were used in the preparation of the forces: Although the imposed war caused some damage and we sacrificed dear martyrs, we have used its experiences for years.

Brigadier General Jahanshahi added: We have formed working groups to benefit from the experiences of the Sacred Defense, and we are focusing on educational content in cultural and academic centers. These lessons learned and educational regulations are taught in classes.

The Army Ground Forces Commander noted: Also, in the fields of equipment, technology, and the use of elites, as well as cooperation with academic centers and knowledge-based companies, very good measures have been taken, and the experiences of the Sacred Defense are continuously applied in the armed forces.
