TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Quds Al-Ekhbariya, 8 Arab and Islamic countries strongly condemned the recent decisions of the Zionist regime to impose illegal rule and consolidate settlement construction in the occupied Palestinian territories.

In a joint statement, the Foreign Ministers of the eight Arab and Islamic countries condemned the illegal decisions and actions of Israel, which aim to impose the illegitimate rule of this regime, consolidate settlement construction, and create a new legal and administrative reality in the occupied West Bank, and as a result, accelerate the illegal annexation and displacement of the Palestinian people.
The Foreign Ministers of Egypt, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar stated that the Israeli occupiers have no sovereignty over the occupied Palestinian territories.
The Ministers warned against the continuation of Israel’s expansionist policies and illegal actions in the occupied West Bank, which fuel violence and conflict in the region.
The Foreign Ministers strongly rejected these illegal actions, which are a clear violation of international law, undermine the two-state solution, and violate the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent and sovereign state within the borders of June 4, 1967, with occupied East Jerusalem as its capital. These actions also undermine ongoing efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.
The Ministers stressed that these illegal actions in the occupied West Bank are null and void and are a clear violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions, in particular Resolution 2334, which condemns all Israeli actions aimed at changing the demographic composition, character, and status of the occupied Palestinian territory since 1967, including East Quds.
They also stressed the need to end the Israeli occupation and the invalidity of the annexation of the occupied Palestinian territory.
The ministers once again called on the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities and to force the occupiers to stop the dangerous escalation of tensions in the occupied West Bank and the provocative statements of its authorities.
According to the joint statement, the ministers stressed the need to realize the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination and the establishment of their state based on a two-state solution.
