Lebanese Army Commander Stresses the Necessity for Zionists to Leave the Country
TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al-Mayadeen, during a visit to the southern regions of the country, Rodolphe Haykal, the commander of the Lebanese army, stated in a speech: The success of the Lebanese military establishment lies in the solidarity between its units.
He added that every inch of Lebanese soil belongs to the people of this country and the Israeli occupiers should not remain in any part of the country’s territory.
Heikal emphasized that Lebanon derives its power from the army and the sacrifices of the martyrs and wounded will never be in vain. We believe in a homeland and an army that defends it.
These words of the Lebanese army commander, along with the passive stances of other officials in this country, come at a time when the Zionist regime’s attacks and aggression against Lebanon continue, and the pro-Western government in Beirut has not taken any decisive action in this regard.
