Syria: Russian Military Convoy, Police Enter Southern Idlib to Set up Monitoring PointsTEHRAN (defapress)- The Russian military police entered the village of Abu Dali in Southern Idlib that is under the control of the Syrian Army troops.

In the meantime, a Russian military convoy moved towards the villages of Um Sahrij, Sinjar and the Syrian army positions near them to reportedly set up truce monitoring points.

Meanwhile, local sources reported that a Turkish army convoy, including military vehicles and fresh troops, entered Northern Idlib via Kafr Luseen passageway, adding that the convoy further entered the town of Morek in Northern Hama via the Ma'arat al-Nu'aman-Khan Sheikhoun road in Southern Idlib.

The Arabic-language al-Masdar news agency quoted local sources in Tartous region as saying on Thursday that Su-25SM3 fighter jets recently landed at Humeimim airbase in Southwestern Lattakia.

The new fighter jets were capable of conducting operations at night in all weather conditions.

The Russian air force deployed new Sukhoi 25 fighter jet in its airbase in Syria after a similar aircraft was shut down by the al-Nusra Front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board) terrorists in Idlib by anti-aircraft missiles in February.
