Yemeni Popular Forces Strike Large Gathering of Saudi-Backed Troops in West
TEHRAN (defapress)- The Yemeni popular forces of Ansarullah struck a large gathering of Saudi-backed troops in the Western region of Yemen this morning, the group announced via their official media wing.
Led by their rocket battalion, the Ansarullah reportedly fired a Zilzal-1 ballistic missile at the gathering of Saudi-backed troops, scoring a direct hit in the process, the AMN reported.
In the meantime, the Saba News Agency of Yemen said that the Ansarullah attack took place inside the contested Ta’iz province.
Saba report added that the missile strike resulted in the death of several Saudi-backed troops in Ta’iz.
