TEHRAN (Defapress) - Takht Ravanchi expressed these remarks during a joint meeting with the leaders of the representatives from the Persian Gulf nations in Tehran on Sunday.
He emphasized that the 14th government places significant importance on enhancing relations with neighboring countries, particularly those within the Persian Gulf region, and intends to further fortify connections across all areas of mutual interest, referencing President Pezeshkian’s recent trip to Iraq.
He noted that the geographical proximity, shared bonds, and commonalities among the eight Persian Gulf nations create an ideal foundation for dialogue and consultation. Continuous cooperation and coordination on pertinent issues are essential, he stated.
By highlighting several shared concerns among the Persian Gulf coastal states, such as economic collaboration, transit, environmental issues, maritime activities, and the fight against drug trafficking, Takht Ravanchi remarked that these nations share similar perspectives on these matters, thus necessitating constructive dialogue and consultations.
