Spain's Opposition to US War on Iran

TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Spanish Foreign Minister has taken a position on the Iran war at a time when the European country's opposition to the US and Israeli war has been met with a sharp reaction from Donald Trump.

It was reported in the news that Spain has not allowed its military bases and installations to be used in attacks against Iran.

Trump recently condemned Spain's positions and announced that the US would cut off all economic relations with Spain.

The Spanish Foreign Minister announced that the government's policy towards Iran, as it was in Palestine, is based on diplomacy and world peace.

Referring to the support of other Western countries for the US and Israeli war on Iran, José Manuel Albares Bueno said: "This feeling of loneliness is familiar to me. This feeling reminds me of the recognition of the state of Palestine. We are certainly not alone. "The position of the Spanish government reflects the opinion of the majority of the people of this country and a large part of the international community."
