Two Terrorist Cells Affiliated with Mossad Destroyed

TEHRAN (Defapress) - In a statement, the Ministry of Intelligence announced the identification and destruction of two terrorist cells affiliated with Mossad and the killing of one terrorist.

The statement from the Ministry of Intelligence states:

It is hereby informed to the noble people of Iran that, through the efforts of the Ministry of Intelligence's forces and by utilizing public reports, agents of two operational cells affiliated with the Zionist regime’s spy organization and a mercenary who intended to transfer information from one of the military centers abroad were arrested in six provinces of the country, and one of the terrorists was killed in an armed conflict. The summary of the mentioned cases is as follows:

1. A four-member operational team affiliated with Mossad in West Azerbaijan province, which was preparing to carry out terrorist operations in West Azerbaijan and Tehran provinces, was identified and disbanded before any action could be taken. The aforementioned team, which received money from Mossad in several stages and was planning to carry out terrorist operations against some sensitive centers and government sites, as well as assassinate an individual in Tehran, was placed under the intelligence control of the General Intelligence Directorate of West Azerbaijan Province and the Tehran Provincial Intelligence Organization. In the operation to arrest the suspects, due to the armed resistance of the aforementioned elements, one of the mercenaries was killed, and three others, named “Shapour-A”, “Siavash-Kh”, and “Mohammad-Sh”, were arrested.

2. With the intelligence observations of the General Intelligence Directorates of Kerman and Alborz's forces provinces, another operational cell of the Zionist child-killing enemy was identified in the reconnaissance phase for a terrorist act against the country’s military forces, and its members were arrested. So far, three members of this terrorist cell named “Ehsan-N”, “Omid-Sh”, and “Morteza-A” were arrested, and significant amounts of weapons and spy tools were discovered from their hideouts. Among the discoveries are: three micro-drones with a special transport vehicle, three Colt waist packs with silencers, a Winchester, a rifle with a scope, large amounts of relevant ammunition and bullets, several long-range handheld and vehicle wireless devices, a Starlink receiver, bulletproof vests, etc.

3. Following the observations made by the General Intelligence Directorate of Qazvin Province, a traitor named "Masoud-T" who intended to take classified information from one of the military centers out of the country was identified and arrested at one of the northern borders of the country. This traitor, having access to the memories of some military centers, intended to transfer information to an intelligence service, but with the grace of God and the efforts of the Ministry of Intelligence's forces, his treacherous act was prevented.
