Sustainable Security in Cities and Borders

TEHRAN (Defapress) - In an interview with the Defapress correspondent, referring to the 24/7 activity of Law Enforcement’s forces throughout the country during the Third Imposed War, he stated: Law Enforcement Command has two important missions; one is to maintain public security in wartime conditions and the other is to establish it in normal conditions; Law Enforcement Command has always put order, discipline, and various issues on its agenda, and this activity continues continuously.

General Karami continued: “Due to the special characteristics of these conditions, it is likely that lawless elements and people who intend to create insecurity in some way will find an opportunity to take action, so Law Enforcement’s work will intensify.”

Referring to Faraja's effective role in the Ramadan War and the 12-Day Imposed War, the Deputy Operations Commander of Law Enforcement said: "Our colleagues at the national level played a very effective role in the field of combat. The Border Guard Commander is present on the front line and must both monitor the other side of the border to ensure the enemy does not enter and maintain the border to prevent the enemy from entering. This heavy work of border guards intensifies during wartime, and our units increase their activity."

Deputy Operations Commander of Law Enforcement also stated: "One of our major units in the great Iranian desert is the Ranger Unit, which controls vast areas, and the enemy may covet these areas. In operations such as the Nasrabad Operation in Isfahan, the Ranger Unit has performed very well; it has collected law enforcement information, provided information, cultivated news, and had an active presence in the region."

He added: "In the pilot exploration carried out in the region, all commanders of the Zagros fringe have played a very effective and round-the-clock role, and these measures have been taken under the guidance of Faraja." In dealing with spies and enemy agents, one of the most brilliant records has been made among the Farajah security units. People who were cooperating with the enemy and spying have been arrested, and very good statistics have been obtained in this regard.

General Karami clarified: The cases of thugs and people who intended to create insecurity during the war have also been well managed, and very good security has been established in cities, roads, and borders.

He said: All of this is the role of Farajah, which has both maintained public security well and served the people, and has also contributed to internal security and the defense of national security, which is a very valuable record.
