TEHRAN (Defapress) - The Zionist regime, as an occupying power, is responsible for ensuring the delivery and access of humanitarian aid to the population residing in the Gaza Strip.

Oxfam also stated that humanitarian aid is not a tool for exerting pressure on various parties but a fundamental right for the civilian population in urgent need, whose lives are at risk.

Oxfam's team, while assessing the situation in Gaza following the ceasefire announcement on January 19, encountered apocalyptic scenes of complete destruction and famine-like conditions.

The people of Gaza now need everything—water, food, sanitation, waste disposal, and electricity.

Aid and supplies have been sent to Gaza during these weeks of ceasefire, but they remain insufficient.

The organization further stated that the international community must exert immediate and maximum pressure on the Zionist regime to ensure that vital aid reaches Gaza without delay.

The International Court of Justice has ordered the Zionist regime to ensure the delivery of aid shipments throughout Gaza.
