TEHRAN (Defapress) - Jens Laerke, the spokesperson for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, stated that the actions of the Zionist regime in Gaza are "brutal crimes."
Speaking at a press conference in Geneva, he said: "Gaza is witnessing a blatant disregard for human life and dignity."
Laerke added: "With daily orders for forced displacement by the Zionist regime, families' chances of survival are diminishing."
Meanwhile, Michael Fakhri, the UN Special Rapporteur on the right to food, told Al Jazeera that the Israeli regime continues to use food as a weapon in the Gaza Strip, and its policies have led to the deaths of thousands of children. "Israel’s apartheid system strips Palestinians of their humanity."
He stated that the Zionist regime continues to justify its inhumane actions and called for holding Israel accountable for its policies and imposing sanctions against it.
Additionally, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights stated: "Israel must immediately halt the obstruction of humanitarian aid and avoid any actions that lead to the forced displacement of Gaza’s residents."
The source noted that the Zionist regime has issued 10 forced evacuation orders, covering large areas across all provinces of the Gaza Strip, since the resumption of its military attacks on March 18. "Forced displacement is a dangerous violation of international humanitarian law and constitutes a crime under international law."
