TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Jazeera, Israel's Army Radio announced that a soldier was killed and 5 others were seriously wounded following an attack by the Al-Qassam Brigades on Israeli army forces in the Beit Hanoun area in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to these sources, the Resistance forces used a mortar and an improvised explosive device in this operation.
Al Jazeera added: "Based on the initial investigations of the Israeli army, the attackers came out of a tunnel and carried out their operation, a tunnel that had previously been identified and examined by the army in the buffer zone in Beit Hanoun."
