According to Al-Mayadeen, “the atmosphere of the ceremony was a combination of sadness, pride, and commitment to continuing the path of jihad.”

At the ceremony, Allama Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din, the Grand Mufti of Yemen, emphasized that cooperation with Israel and the United States is a sign of apostasy from Islam, adding that those who are aware of the existence of spies and do not report them to the legal authorities will be complicit in the crime.

He also addressed the audience, saying: “This great calamity is a divine test for the believers in the way of God and in supporting the oppressed.”
