Turkish Airstrikes Spilling over to Kurdish Positions in RaqqaThe Arabic-language al-Watan daily reported that the Turkish warplanes have struck several times the warehouses of the 93rd Brigade Base in the town of Ein Issa in Northern Raqqa that is under the Kurdish fighters.

The daily further said that the Kurdish forces declared curfew in the region after the air attacks.

In the meantime, local reports said that the Turkish army targeted a group of the Kurdish gunmen in the town of Ra'as al-Ein in Northwestern Hasaka.

A Kurdish member of the Syrian parliament underscored on Tuesday that the Kurdish units and the Syrian Army must form a joint operation room in Northern Syria to confront the Turkish troops' aggressions.

Omar Ousi, who is also the head of the Syrian Kurds' National Initiative, said that the Turkish troops plan to storm the town of Manbij in Northern Aleppo in the coming days, and urged the Kurdish militias and the Syrian Army to set up a joint operation room to face the Ankara forces.

He further said that the Turkish troops are not capable of attacking the town of Tal Rifa'at in Aleppo province because the Syrian army soldiers are deployed in the town.

The parliamentarian said that Turkish troops managed to occupy a part of Northern Syria after a US and NATO green light, adding that the Ankara forces plan to impose full control over a large region to connect the towns of Jarabulus, al-Ra'ei, al-Bab and Azaz.

He further warned that the Turkish troops have also planned an assault on Aleppo city.

Ousi said that Russia will be surprised in coming week and months by Turkey's sudden change of policies in the region.

Ousi further urged the Kurds to pave the ground for the Syrian troops to enter their regions to erase Ankara's pretext for war on militancy.

He said that the humanitarian situation in Afrin has been disastrous after its occupation by the Turkish troops and Ankara-backed militants, adding that 400,000 displaced people are the result of the Turkish occupation of Afrin.
