He added: Martyrs are not those who have merely departed from among us; they migrate from the confines of the earth to the vastness of the celestial realm and take their place among those "who are alive with their Lord, receiving provision." [Quran 3:169] These are ones for whom God Himself has testified that they are alive and receive sustenance near Him.

The Commander of the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH), referring to the exalted status of martyrdom and the lofty rank of the martyr, emphasized: The greatness of the martyr lies in the fact that he does not see death as an end, but rather as a bridge to truth, a passage to union with the Divine, and a path towards the Beloved. He offers his pure blood upon the heights of religion, the honor, and the tranquility of the Islamic Ummah.

Major General Abdollahi described the martyr as a fragment of light and added: Blessed are those whose names are recorded in a caravan whom God, the True One, has introduced not as perishable, but as eternal and luminous. In our time too, the Almighty God ignited stars in the sky of the Islamic Revolution; men whose stature was of servitude, courage, wisdom, and adherence to guardianship, and whose flight was of light and purity.

He went on to remember his companion and close friend, saying: Among these stars, the name of Major General Mohammad Bagheri is like a peak whose grandeur cannot be contained in words and whose magnificence is inscribed in the text of history; a peak that was both tall in stature and lofty in spirit.

The events of the Revolution and the Sacred Defense made Martyr Major General Bagheri an enduring model

He spoke of his longing for his longtime friend, Martyr Major General Mohammad Bagheri, and added: My acquaintance with that great man dates back to 1982 in Khuzestan; this 43-year-long blessing was like a page from Divine special grace. Throughout all these years, he never rested for a moment to serve people; half a century of continuous working for people in various arenas, with effective and decisive presence in the Sacred Defense, construction, deprivation alleviation, and the development of Iran, scientific endeavor, teaching, training forces, and cadre building for the front of the Revolution.

The Commander of the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH), continued by pointing out the personality and professional characteristics of Martyr Major General Bagheri and emphasized: This epic path made him a comprehensively-rounded personality, a standard of the Islamic Revolution, and an enduring model for the generations of today and tomorrow. He was preeminent at all levels, strategic, operational, and tactical. But beyond his expertise and command, his morality, sincerity, and divine upbringing distinguished him. Characteristics such as continuous self-purification, good conduct, truthfulness in speech and action, decisiveness accompanied by openness, simple living, exceptional intelligence, and a popular spirit were only part of his virtues.

Major General Ali Abdollahi, in this regard, considered "centeredness" as a specific characteristic of Martyr Major General Bagheri and stated: His pure adherence to guardianship had a special manifestation. In the meetings of commanders over recent decades, his first and last words were "the directives of the Honorable Supreme Commander-in-Chief." He considered himself obliged to fulfill the commands of the Supreme Leader and set this as the criterion for evaluating the performance of his colleagues as well. His loyalty to the line of guardianship was not an administrative slogan but an existential identity for him.

He noted: Alongside these greatnesses, his astonishingly simple living was unbelievable for his comrades-in-arms. I associated with him closely for years; his life was so unadorned and adorned with piety that it would make any faithful person ponder. He had a program for the elevation of his spirit; for the health of his body, his weekly exercise was never abandoned. He was a symbol of the "Iconic Symbol of the Revolution": a worshipper, a great fighter, a scholar, a commander, popular, unassuming, sincere, and truthful.

The Commander of the Central Headquarters of Hazrat Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH), finally emphasized: Today, as he rests in the proximity of Divine mercy, our responsibility is heavier than ever; the blood of these heavenly martyrs is the roadmap for the future of the Revolution, and we must, for our part, be the guardians of it. May his soul be happy, his path enduring, and his memory a guiding light for generations.
