TEHRAN (Defapress) - Two years after the start of the genocidal war in Gaza that resulted in the martyrdom of more than 66,000 Palestinians, American university communities are still affected by the consequences of this century-long tragedy.

According to a survey published by the New York Post, 39 percent of American Jewish students have felt that they have to hide their Jewishness on campus to avoid criticism or social isolation.
Meanwhile, experts believe that this isolation of Jewish students in the United States is a reflection of the deeper crisis of the occupation regime globally.
The survey shows that 62 percent of Jewish students blame Israel for the crimes in Gaza. A crime that resulted in the injury or martyrdom of more than 10 percent of the population of Gaza, with reports indicating that 83 percent of the martyrs were civilians. International organizations such as Human Rights Watch have also reported the starvation, forced displacement, and destruction of the homes of thousands of civilians.
According to the New York Post, these statistics have sparked widespread protests at American universities and led some Jewish students to feel isolated and disconnected.
Meanwhile, pro-Israel institutions have called these cases anti-Semitism and have criticized and even threatened university administrators. On the other hand, critics believe that it is necessary to pay attention to the global roots of the tensions, including the continuation of Israeli military operations and their humanitarian consequences.
