TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Al Jazeera, 14 Islamic and Arab countries issued a joint statement, strongly condemning the statements of the US ambassador to the occupied territories, Mike Huckabee, about accepting the regime's sovereignty over the territory of Arab countries.

14 Islamic and Arab Countries Condemn the Statements of the US Ambassador to Israel

The statement states: "We condemn the US ambassador's statements in which he refers to accepting Tel Aviv's sovereignty over lands belonging to Arab countries, including the West Bank."

The statement further emphasizes: "These dangerous statements are a clear violation of international law and a serious threat to the security and stability of the region."

The 14 Islamic and Arab countries also stated: "The US ambassador's statements contradict the vision put forward by US President Donald Trump and the comprehensive plan to end the conflict in Gaza."

Another part of the statement reads: We reiterate that there is no sovereignty for Israel over the occupied Palestinian territories or any of the occupied territories of Arab countries, and we firmly oppose any attempt to annex the West Bank or separate it from the Gaza Strip.

Iraq: These statements are dangerous

The Iraqi Foreign Ministry also announced in a statement: Huckabee's statements are a dangerous act that contradicts the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter and is an attack on the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of countries.

Kuwait: We condemn irresponsible statements

In response to Huckabee's statements, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry added: It strongly condemns the irresponsible statements of the US ambassador to the Israeli occupiers about accepting the Zionist regime's domination over the territory of Arab countries, including the occupied West Bank.

The ministry emphasized: We reject any attempt to annex the West Bank or separate it from the Gaza Strip and oppose the continuation of settlement construction in the occupied Palestinian territories.

Hamas's reaction

In this regard, Hamas also announced: The statements of the US ambassador to the occupied territories show the extent of America's clear support for the hegemonic and annexationist projects of the Tel Aviv regime.

Hamas added: The US ambassador's support for the geographical expansion of the Zionist regime and the occupation of the territory of Arab and Islamic countries is a direct threat to the national security of Islamic and Arab and Islamic countries.

Saudi Arabia: The US ambassador's position is extremist

An hour ago, the Saudi Foreign Ministry had reacted to the controversial statements of the US ambassador regarding the right of the Zionist regime to dominate the West Bank and West Asia.

In a statement issued by the Saudi Foreign Ministry, it was stated: Riyadh condemns the statements of the US ambassador to Israel in which he recklessly stated that Israeli control over the entire Middle East would be acceptable.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry continued in this regard: The US ambassador’s statements ignore the relations between the countries of the region and the United States. The US ambassador’s extremist position carries serious consequences and threatens global peace and security by intensifying hostility against the countries and people of the region.

It is worth noting that the US ambassador to the occupied territories, in an interview with Tucker Carlson, a famous American presenter, made unprecedented statements about the territory of the fake Zionist regime.

In this interview, when Huckabee was asked whether “based on the teachings of the Torah, does Israel have the right to dominate all the areas between the Nile and the Euphrates Rivers; "A region that includes Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, parts of Iraq and Saudi Arabia," he said in a short and controversial response: "If they take all of these areas, it will be a good thing."
