TEHRAN (Defapress) - Yahya Saree, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, stated in a speech: This morning (Friday) at 5:20, several Saudi coalition fighter jets violated Yemeni airspace and attempted to prevent the landing of an Iranian civilian plane at Sanaa International Airport; the plane was transporting more than 200 trapped, injured, and sick Yemeni citizens.

Yahya Saree added: This attempt was foiled by the interception of the Saudi fighter jets by Yemeni air defenses, and after firing several defensive missiles, the fighter jets were forced to leave Yemeni airspace.

The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces continued: We warn Saudi Arabia to refrain from repeating any violation of airspace or aggression against Yemen; Otherwise, it will receive a comprehensive response that will target its airports and vital centers on land and sea.

He noted: We will not accept the continuation of the Saudi-American siege against Yemen for an indefinite period and will use all legitimate measures to end this siege.

Yahya Saree added: All units of the armed forces are fully prepared to implement any decision made by the leader of the Ansar Allah movement and are ready to break the Saudi siege and expel the occupiers.

The spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces stated: The siege and restrictions imposed on Sanaa International Airport must end.

He explained: We appreciate the action of the Islamic Republic of Iran to break the Saudi siege, transfer the sick, trapped people, as well as the official and public delegations participating in the funeral ceremony of the body of Martyr Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

Yahya Saree concluded by stating: "Flights between Sanaa and Tehran airports will continue, regardless of any consequences, to break the siege and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people."
