IRGC Has No Limitations in Sharing Counter-Terrorism Experience

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Major General Mohammad Pakpour, Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC, in a message on the occasion of the start of the final stage of the Sahand 2025 Joint Anti-Terrorist Exercise, pointed to the IRGC's capabilities in combating terrorism and stated: The IRGC has no limitations in transferring counter-terrorism experiences.

Major General Pakpour added: The extensive presence of heads of high-level delegations, commanders, and military officers from SCO member countries in this exercise demonstrates synergistic interaction and a common will to confront terrorism.

The IRGC Commander-in-Chief noted: The IRGC is ready to place all its experiences at the disposal of member countries of this organization without any limitations.

In another part of his remarks, he deemed it necessary to pay tribute to the martyrs of the fight against terrorism and honored the memory of the martyred commanders of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, including Martyr Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, Martyr Lieutenant General Gholamali Rashid, Martyr Lieutenant General Mohammad Bagheri, Martyr Lieutenant General Hossein Salami, and all the martyrs of the 12-day imposed war.

Referring to the regional situation after the recent 12-day war, Major General Pakpour emphasized: Despite all pressures and threats, the Islamic Republic of Iran, with national resolve and a strategic outlook, has focused on strengthening regional and international cooperation.

The IRGC Commander-in-Chief described Iran's position in the SCO as "active, responsible, and based on constructive participation in collective security," adding: High-ranking political and military officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, considering the proven capabilities of the IRGC, especially its Ground Force, have entrusted the responsibility for designing, planning, and executing this exercise to this force.

Stating that the Sahand 2025 Joint Anti-Terrorist Exercise is the result of one year of continuous effort by officials, planners, commanders, and operational units, he said: The units present in the field today are at the highest level of readiness, experience, and coordination.

Referring to the IRGC's operational experiences, Major General Pakpour stated: The IRGC has gained valuable and very good operational experiences in direct confrontation with Takfiri, separatist, and mercenaries of hostile states in recent years; experiences that we are ready to share today with SCO member countries without any limitations.

He also described the threat of terrorism as "without borders or geography" and emphasized that confronting this threat requires joint actions, specialized exercises, and the exchange of information and experience among the military and security forces of member countries. The Sahand 2025 Joint Anti-Terrorist Exercise is precisely designed in this direction to enhance collective capability in facing threats targeting regional and global security.

The IRGC Commander-in-Chief described the high-level presence of commanders and security officials from both member and non-member countries of the SCO as "a clear sign of interaction, synergy, and common will to confront terrorism and increase the stability of security in the region."

Major General Pakpour, in conclusion, expressed hope that this exercise would bring peace, security, and tranquility for all nations of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states.
