TEHRAN (Defapress) - In an interview with one of Egypt's MBC programs, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Atti revealed that his country has rejected very large financial offers to accept the "evacuation and relocation of the Palestinians" plan.

He explained that the first offer included the cancellation of Egypt's debts. But Egypt categorically rejected all these offers, and the Israeli side knows very well that Egypt's position in this regard is unchangeable and adheres to international law and will never succumb to the "law of the jungle."
He added: "After more than 45 years of diplomatic relations with Israel, both sides are well aware of each other's positions and capabilities." Israel, as an occupier, is obliged by international law to open the crossings for aid, but it ignores these laws.
Regarding the Rafah crossing, the Egyptian Foreign Minister stressed that Cairo will never accept that the crossing be opened from only one side and considers the division of Gaza to be its red line.
He also said about the gas deal with Israel that this agreement is purely commercial between Egyptian, American, and Israeli companies and has nothing to do with politics. With two large stations in Edco and Damietta, Egypt has become a regional center for gas exports.
In another part of the conversation, Abdel Atti addressed relations with Syria and said that Egypt supports the unity and stability of Syria and has always condemned Israeli aggression on Syrian territory.
He noted that Jolani recently traveled to Cairo to attend an emergency Arab meeting on Palestine.
He also said on the refugee issue that Egypt is bearing the heavy burden of hosting migrants and refugees without receiving assistance and that the international community must assume its responsibility.
Regarding the Grand Renaissance Dam, the Egyptian Foreign Minister stressed that water is a vital issue for Egypt and a national security issue, and Cairo will never compromise on its water rights. The unilateral actions of the Ethiopian government have caused great damage to Sudan, and Egypt will defend its rights in accordance with international law.
