TEHRAN (Defapress) - According to Yemen's Al-Masirah Network, Israeli newspapers, including Maariv and Israel Hayom, acknowledged the expansion of Ansar Allah's attacks, emphasizing that the group has successfully targeted vital symbols of Israeli sovereignty, disrupted shipping routes, and isolated Tel Aviv from the outside world.
Maariv newspaper wrote in this regard: What was unprecedented in the recent attack by Yemen's Houthis was not just the 2-hour closure of Ben Gurion Airport, but the targeting of one of the main symbols of Zionist regime's sovereignty and the attempt to isolate Israel from the outside world.
The report stated: The Houthi forces have been disrupting Israeli shipping routes for more than a year and a half, preventing commercial ships from reaching the port of Eilat and our other ports.
Maariv added: In recent months, the focus of the Houthi attacks has been on the ports of Haifa and Ashdod, as well as energy platforms in Ashkelon.
According to the newspaper, in one instance, a Houthi drone crashed near a bridge surrounding an energy center, coming just a few meters away from causing extensive damage.
On the other hand, Israel Hayom newspaper, citing assessments by Israeli security agencies, reported that Ansar Allah likely fired a new type of missile toward Ben Gurion Airport on Sunday.
The newspaper also stated that despite U.S. attacks on Yemen, Ansar Allah continues to develop new drones and missiles.
Meanwhile, Israel's economic website, Calcalist, admitted that dozens of foreign airlines have canceled their flights to Israel over the past 24 hours due to Ansarullah's attack.
The report added that some foreign airlines have also announced they will continue suspending their flights to Israel.
Calcalist wrote that when foreign airlines will resume their flights to Israel is still unclear.
