TEHRAN (Defapress) - The AFP news agency, citing government sources in Afghanistan, claimed that the Pakistani army has killed at least 10 civilians in airstrikes on Afghan territory. The attacks came a day after a suicide bombing at the Pakistani security forces' command center in Peshawar, an incident that has once again increased tensions between the two countries.

According to Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Taliban government, Pakistani warplanes targeted a civilian's house in Khost province this morning, killing nine children and a woman. He also reported that four other civilians were injured in separate attacks on the border areas of Kunar and Paktika.
The Pakistani government and army have not yet commented on the attacks. The developments come after a suicide attack on the Federal Constabulary Force headquarters in Peshawar on Monday killed 3 officers and wounded 11 others. Pakistani state media said the attackers were Afghan nationals, and the country's president blamed the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) for the attack.
Relations between Kabul and Islamabad have been strained in recent months, particularly after escalating border clashes and disagreements over the Afghan Taliban's ties with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and talks between the two sides have so far yielded no tangible results.
