TEHRAN (Defapress) - Drones play an important role in battles and can change the fate of a war. The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have also shown in recent years that, in addition to having high missile power, they can use advanced indigenous drones to inflict heavy blows on the enemy and force them to accept defeat in a heterogeneous battle, an example of which we witnessed in the war with the Zionist enemy and its allies.

Iranian drones have, of course, also received serious attention from the Western media in the last month or two, and in addition to Russia, the United States, which is known as the world's first military superpower, has also copied Iranian drones (Shahed 136 drone).
Donald Trump, President of America, says in this regard: I told one of the (American) companies that I want a lot of drones; in Iran, they make good drones for $35,000 to $40,000. The company came to me two weeks later and brought me a drone that cost $41 million. I told them that wasn’t what I meant. I meant a drone that would cost $35,000 to $40,000. (These drones) are very good, fast, deadly, and terrifying.
Iran’s drone capabilities continue to develop vigorously, and recently, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ ground forces demonstrated their latest drone achievement by building the “Hadid 110” drone. The “Hadid 110” drone, which demonstrated its power in the Sahand 2025 anti-terrorism exercise, demonstrates the Islamic Republic of Iran’s ability to target US military bases in the West Asia region in the event of a full-scale conflict between the two countries.

This drone has unique features that allow it to pass through any defense system at high speed and with a low profile; in fact, this drone is radar-evading. The lightweight structure of the drone is also designed to scatter radar waves and reduce the likelihood of detection.
The Hadid 110 suicide drone is equipped with a jet engine and, due to the use of a jet engine, has a higher cruising speed than propeller-driven suicide drones and can reach its targets in a shorter time. In fact, one of the ways to overcome the barrier of defense systems at the level of combat tactics is to use higher speeds to reduce the enemy's reaction time, and this drone was designed and built precisely in this direction.
One of the defining features of the Hadid 110 drone is its jet engine, which allows the drone to reach a speed of 510 km/h. The drone is launched using a solid-fuel booster that brings it to the required speed and altitude before the main jet engine ignites; this launch method allows for rapid deployment. The small size also maintains the drone’s efficiency during flight.

Despite its relatively small dimensions, the Hadid 110 drone can carry a 30-kilogram warhead and has a claimed strike range of up to 350 kilometers. The IRGC Ground Force also announced that the drone has a maximum operating altitude of over 9,000 meters, which puts it completely out of reach of mobile fire groups, anti-aircraft artillery, and most short-range air defense systems.
The Interesting Engineer website wrote in this regard: At a speed of 510 kilometers per hour, the Hadid 110 drone is considered Iran’s fastest known suicide drone.
Referring to the advanced design of this Iranian drone, Interesting Engineer adds: The Hadid 110 drone has a low cross-section, stealthy style similar to some advanced Western aircraft; Iran has also been steadily improving its drone production for more than a decade, and its unmanned aircraft have become one of the country’s most influential military exports.

Military analysts believe that Iran’s drones, with their low cost, modular design, and ease of mass production, have forced militaries around the world to expand short-range air defense networks and rethink how they protect critical assets from persistent, low-altitude threats; the new Iranian drone’s upgraded jet engine also provides a significant increase in survivability; reduces the reaction time available to air defense crews, and complicates tracking.
By producing this powerful and strategic suicide drone, the Islamic Republic of Iran has demonstrated that it can target strategic US assets in the region, especially its military bases in the Persian Gulf and Arab countries, with multiple squadrons in the event of a large-scale conflict.
