Zionist warplanes set fire to tents of Palestinian refugees

TEHRAN (Defapress) - Israeli forces conducted an assault on a tent located in the designated safe zone of al-Mawasi in Khan Younis, resulting in the martyrdom of at least 2 children, as reported by Al Jazeera Arabic.

Earlier on Saturday, Israeli forces also martyred 17 additional individuals in Khan Younis, among whom were approximately a dozen people awaiting food assistance.

Rescue workers have reported that an Israeli airstrike on the residence of the al-Araj family in the Tall az-Zaatar neighborhood of Jabalia has resulted in the martyrdom of at least 40 Palestinians. 

The Wada news agency reported that “a large number” of individuals remain trapped beneath the debris, and that a shortage of ambulances and emergency personnel hampers rescue efforts.

These recent fatalities occurred as Al Jazeera Arabic indicated that Israeli operations have led to the martyrdom of at least 100 Palestinians in Gaza since the early hours of Saturday.

Among the deceased are three aid workers affiliated with World Central Kitchen and a staff member from Save the Children.
