Cypriot, Hungarian speakers rebuke Tehran terror incidents
Demetris Syllouris, Speaker of House of Representatives of
Cyprus, in his message directed towards Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani
blamed the terrorist attacks on mausoleum of the late Imam Khomeini and the
Iranian Parliament on Wednesday morning and sympathized with Iran’s Leader and
nation as well as families of the victims.
In his message, Syllouris emphasized commitment of Cyprus to the fight against terrorists and urged the need for collective, immediate and firm reaction to the scourge of terrorism.
Similarly, Hungarian Parliament Speaker Laszlo Kover also issued a message to Larijani in a bid to slam the twin terror incidents in Tehran and offered condolences on killing of a number of Iranian nationals in the attacks.
"One again, the incidents certified that violence and terror know no border and threaten all people and democratic institutions,” Kover’s message reads.
He went on to note that "it remains our shared responsibility to join the forces against terrorism and their supporters who have poisoned international relations and weakened peace in people’s daily lives.”
