FM Zarif en route to Norway
TEHRAN (defapress) – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif left the Iranian capital for Oslo on Monday morning.
Mohammad Javad Zarif departed Iran for Norway in order to
take part at 2017 edition of the Oslo Forum.
The Iranian minister of foreign affairs is also slated to meet and talk with Norwegian officials.
Annually, the Oslo Forum convenes senior conflict mediators, high level decision makers and key peace process actors in a series of informal and discreet retreats to share their experiences, identify challenges and reflect on mediation practice.
The Forum is widely regarded as the leading international network of armed conflict mediation practitioners.
